Dr. Waselus has conducted nutritional research and testing for nearly 20 years. She compared the Green Star to a nationally recognized brand of masticating juicer (excerpted):

“What would you say if I told you about a way to get up to 25% more juice from each pound of produce you do juice with 68.98% more minerals in that juice?
When I look at a product such as a juice extractor, I compare for value. I want:

• Maximum quantity of juice from the produce used

In short, I search for efficient, cost-effective convenience. Until recently, I had not found a juice extractor that could meet all the criteria I consider to be value.

Recently, independent nutritional testing on juicers and fresh squeezed juice has resulted in some pretty surprising and impressive information. In that test, 2.4 lbs. of vegetable greens consisting of celery, parsley, kale, swiss chard, and sunflower sprouts produced 20 oz. of juice using a nationally recognized brand of masticating juicer. Another juicer in that same test yielded 26.67 oz. - that’s 25% more juice from the same quantity and proportion of greens! Analyzing the mineral content of the juice by volume obtained in that testing, significant differences are also revealed: from the same juicer that produces more juice, came 95.4% more calcium, 173.3% more iron, 96.95% more magnesium, 61.4% more potassium, 205% more silicon, 108.2 more zinc. In the 19 minerals tested 68.98+% more.

The name of this juice extractor - GREEN POWER. The Green Power juicing technology incorporates four ingenious concepts:

1. A pair of fine grade s/s, horizontal twin gears spaced a mere 4/1000 of an inch apart; - NO blades, rotors or augers.
2. Very slow processing speed of only 110 revolutions per minute.
3. A focused magnetic filed produces by an in-line series of rotating magnets totaling 2600 gauss and,
4. Bioceramic generated Far Infared also known as “life force frequencies.

The unique twin gear unit features a pocket-recessed area to more easily accept fibrous vegetables and herbs, 3 separate points that cut strong fibers like celery so the appliance foes not get jammed or clogged, and the extremely close clearance of the twin gears at 4/1000 of an inch. These features combine to more easily, thoroughly and gently extract more juice, more quickly, leaving the ejected pulp-drier.

At only 110 revolutions per minute, minimal heat build up develops in the juice and therefore initial oxidation is delayed allowing more leisurely consumption while getting full nutritional benefits. A recent independent comparative study on how 5 different juices affect juice stability showed that apples at 59.9°F juiced in a Green Power only increased in temperature a bit over 1 degree to 60.44°F. The other 4 juicers ranged from almost 3 degrees to over 14 F higher than the original temperature of the fruit.

At the core of each rotating gear is a series of in-line magnets that produce a focused magnetic field of 2600 gauss through which the juice flows during the juicing process. As it flows through the focus field, the water molecules in the juice are broken up allowing the atoms to recombine with other minerals such as calcium, potassium, sodium and magnesium into new molecular structures. This magnetic process therefore extracts a greater % of mineral nutrients from the produce during juice extraction and is instrumental in keeping those minerals in a suspended coloidal form the body can use for a longer length of time.

Far Infared is the natural resonant frequency range of water and all organic substances including man. We call it the “life force-frequency. Infared wavelength ranges from .7 to 1000 microns, just beyond visible light. Far Infared is a part of this wavelength family we use in Infared photography, mapping the earth’s surface, and guiding missiles to their target. Our skin radiates 9.36 microns Far Infared wave which is very close to the resonant frequency of a water molecule -and rightly so since our bodies are about 70% water. Far Infared waves are the safest and most beneficial energy source available. Green Power places a specially formulated biocermaic material around the in-line magnets at the core of each twin-gear. The bioceramic compound uses the mechanical energy from the turning of the twin-gears to generate Far Infared waves that penetrate the water within the juice. Since water naturally resonates at this frequency, the water molecules not only receive the Far Infared energy, but also radiate it, thus further stabilizing the fragile structure in the juice.

In addition to extracting juice from all varieties of fruit and vegetables, the Green Power appliance does an excellent job of juicing wheatgrass, herbs and yes, even pine needles. Nut butters, sorbets, baby foods, mochi type rice cakes, bread sticks and 3 styles of pasta are also easily produced.

And clean-up: Every part disassembles quickly and brushes clean with no hidden corners or soldered seams to catch food debris or harbor bacteria.
