Seawater minerals and trace elements benefits
On Quinton's marine therapy as a healing agent

René Joseph Quinton (1866–1925) was a French biologist who developed a treatment based on seawater with which he reaped multiple astounding successes. He is credited with saving thousands of lives and restoring many people's health with the use of what came to be called "marine plasma", i.e. seawater processed in a specific way and injected or taken by mouth (now sold as Quinton Isotonic and Quinton Hypotonic ampoules).
Seawater — exactly like seaweed of course — is a source of all minerals and trace elements known to man which due to soil depletion and inorganic husbandry coupled with a bad diet often are sorely lacking in modern man's body.
Replenishing these missing elements can have a profoundly therapeutic effect on the body and is highly recommended (see below under Related content)..
According to a book written by Jean-Claude Secondé ("Quinton, la cure d'eau de mer : La mer est un docteur", approximately: "Quinton, the seawater cure — the ocean is a physician"), the following wide range of diseases, functions and/or organs have benefitted from treatment with "marine plasma".

While the rich mineral and trace element content is likely not the only agent behind the often astounding healing effects experienced by users of Quinton's seawater products, they likely play a major part. These minerals and trace elements can of course also be obtained — and much more cheaply — by seaweed.
